casualplay
Ten puzzle games under one roof, new every day. Each takes a couple of minutes. None of them need a tutorial you will resent. Solve the whole set or the one you like, keep a streak, and come back tomorrow for a set that already exists.
The set
Ten games. One tab.
reconstruct
An original image is generated for the day, cut into tiles and scrambled.
02warmer
One secret word a day.
03thread
A grid with a marked start and end.
04spot
A grid of identical colours, except one.
05hue
A smooth colour gradient arrives shuffled.
06groups
Sixteen tiles belong to four groups of four, and the connections are never the obvious ones.
07deduce
A logic grid with a handful of clues.
08arc
A wall between you and a target.
09reveal
An image starts almost unreadable and clears a step at a time.
10rebus
A phrase drawn as symbols, size, repetition and position.
How it ships
Runs nightly. Unattended.
Generate
Candidate puzzles are built from a date seed, so a given day always produces the same set for everyone.
Validate
A solver plays every candidate. Unsolvable, ambiguous, and trivially easy ones are thrown out here, before anyone sees them.
Buffer
Survivors join a rolling queue that runs weeks ahead of today. Nothing ships the night it was made.
Publish
At the daily reset the queue serves the day's set, with the answers stripped out of what your device receives.
Watch
If a batch fails or the queue runs short, the day falls back to a known-good set from the archive rather than shipping something broken.
This is the part we're proudest of and the part nobody sees. It's why ten games can be run by a bench this size — and why tomorrow is already written.
Playing it straight
A rank should mean something.
Your device never holds the answer
On a ranked puzzle the solution stays on the server. Guesses are sent up and graded there, so the answer isn't sitting in the page waiting to be read.
Some games are replayed, not trusted
For the games where it's possible, the server replays your moves and re-derives the result. A score that can't be reproduced doesn't get counted.
Hints cannot buy a rank
Hints are yours to use freely — but a run that used one is left off the ranked board. They help you finish, never place.
Daily, weekly, global, local
Boards run daily and weekly, worldwide and in your region, so you're not only measured against everybody who has ever played.
Supporter
One pass. Everything.
The daily set is free, forever, on every game. The Supporter pass is for people who want more than a day at a time: unlimited practice puzzles across all ten games, the full archive of past days, unlimited hints, and the accent themes.
It is one purchase covering every game, on web and on mobile, as a subscription or a one-time unlock. Buy it anywhere and it follows your account everywhere. Free players can earn a hint by watching a short ad — and because hinted runs are left off the ranked boards, nothing about the pass buys you a place on a leaderboard.
Questions
The short answers.
Do I need an account? No. You can play the daily set without one. An account keeps your streak and stats across devices and puts you on the leaderboards.
What happens if I miss a day? The streak resets, and the day goes into the archive. Supporters can go back and play it.
Is everyone playing the same puzzle? Yes. The day's set is generated from a date seed, so it is identical for every player everywhere.
Can I play offline? The daily set needs a connection to fetch and to submit a score. Practice puzzles do not.
Are the games timed? They are not on a clock, but solve time is recorded and used to break ties on the leaderboard.
