spot

A grid of identical colours, except one. Find it and the next grid is larger and the difference is finer. Rounds escalate until the odd tile is a shade away from its neighbours.

How a round plays

Find the one that does not match.

  1. Tap the tile that differs from the rest.
  2. Get it right and the next round tightens.
  3. A wrong tap ends the day’s run where it stands.

Scoring and fairness

What the grade is measuring.

The ◆ grade. How deep into the escalation you got, and how quickly.

Hints.Flashes the odd tile briefly. Using one keeps you off the ranked board for that day, so a hint can rescue a round but never buy a rank.

How the result is proved.Per-guess checks + win token. Every one of the ten games is verified server-side in one of three ways — a replayed move log, a server-graded answer, or per-guess checks that end in a signed win token — so the leaderboard only counts results the server could reconstruct for itself.

Where it comes from

A new one, every night.

Tomorrow's spot already exists. It was generated from a date seed, checked by a solver, and put in a queue that runs weeks ahead of today — so nothing ships the night it was made, and a bad batch never reaches a player.
